Richard Gage, from Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, and Dave Thomas a physicist from New Mexicans for Science and Reason, joined Ian Punnett for the entire program to debate how the World Trade Center buildings collapsed on September 11, 2001. Physicist Kim Johnson and chemist Niels Harrit join the debate in the last segment.

Schrödinger’s Cat, a Norwegian State Television television program about scientific research, technology and popular science looks at 9/11 conspiracies. Broadcast on 9/10/2009.
For 9/11 conspiracy theorists, the anniversary of the attacks functions as a PR peg for spreading their version of what happened that day. WNYC's Beth Fertig is taking special note this year, after discovering that her reporting from September 11, 2001 is being used as evidence on conspiracy theorist websites and literature.

America watched in horror as the events of September 11, 2001, unfolded before our eyes. Now, eight years have passed and no stone has been left unturned in the painstaking process of piecing together what happened on that fateful day. Yet according to a 2006 poll, 33 percent of us still do not accept the U.S. government's account. Were the attacks really the work of just al-Qaida terrorists, or is it possible something even more sinister was at work?
On Monday, August 31, 2009, at 9pm ET, National Geographic Channel's "9/11: Science and Conspiracy" conducts a forensic investigation to test the tenets of some of the most common conspiracy theories. Did the Twin Towers really collapse from the fires, or did explosives inside cause the buildings to implode? Was the Pentagon hit by a missile, and not a commercial airliner? And why do so many people believe theories like these?
The government's official version of the events has been consistent: Hijackers commandeered commercial jetliners in a highly coordinated attack on the World Trade Center and Pentagon that took the lives of some 3,000 Americans. Now we hear from a group of theorists, dubbed the "9/11 Truth Movement," who believe the official version is not only inconsistent with reality, it is impossible. Some even go so far as to suggest that the U.S. military plotted a colossal scheme to replace hijacked plans with remotely piloted rogue planes. And their seeds of doubt have spread widely around the world and across the internet.
"Our country, our government and our mind-set as a whole would not be where it is today without 9/11. And I don't think it's by accident, I think it's by design, " says Dylan Avery, theorist and director of the popular 2005 Internet-based documentary "Loose Change."
Using high-tech forensic experiments, CGI re-creations, eyewitness footage and in-depth analysis by experts and theorists on all sides of the story, "9/11: Science and Conspiracy" examines the alleged conspiracies and available evidence.
Many theories exist that contradict the official findings, covering many aspects of the worst terrorist attack on American soil. Of these, a handful have been persistent: The fires never got hot enough to deform the steel in the WTC towers and cause their collapse; there was an insiders' conspiracy to bring down the towers with a controlled demolition made to look like an attack; the Pentagon was really damaged by an explosive missile or a bomb instead of a jetliner.
Architect and "Truther" Richard Gage: "We're not conspiracy theorists. We're looking at the science-based, rational facts found at the crime scene and otherwise available to us...It's up to the American people to demand a real investigation with subpoena power that may reveal who may have done it, how they did it, what are all the surrounding circumstances."
Finally we look at how and why conspiracy theories persist in our culture despite the official government reports, as we recall American suspicion around other national tragedies such as Pearl Harbor and JFK's assassination.
Journalist and author David Aaronovitch: "I think there are very common threads to conspiracy theories, both in the desire the people have to tell them, the feeling they get at the point when they say then, and duplicate them...the desire that there is to have a story which is better than reality, than messy reality. I think these things are almost eternal."
Nearly four years after the July 7, 2005, London bombings, England's worst terrorist atrocity, The Conspiracy Files investigates the conspiracy theories flourishing on the internet.
There have been three official reports into the bombings on 7th July 2005, which claimed the lives of 56 people and injured 784 others. The programme sees how conspiracy theories suggest four British Muslims were framed by the government, play on the fears of the Muslim community and spread a highly divisive and damaging message.
The Conspiracy Files: 7/7 examines the evidence in an attempt to separate fact from fiction.
"I began to boo when I saw that it said, '911 was an inside job" because I found it so offensive," said Columbus resident Charlene Larson.
On the day we celebrate the founding of our nation, one man finds himself behind bars.
Every year the Columbus Fourth of July parade attracts about 10,000 people, and one of those people this year is now the talk of the town.
The first 90 minutes of the parade was just like any other year, until a protester who designed his own float somehow entered the procession.
He screamed the following through speakers on the roof. "It's time for you to literally break out of that cage. It's time for you to burst out like the incredible hulk. It's time for you to get wild! There's nothing that can stop you now! Yeah!" The car managed to make it through the entire parade following the main road through the center of town. At the end of the route the crowd began to boo and he stopped the car. That is when it got ugly.
The man, who police say is 31-year-old Mark Spinler of Beaver Dam, further taunted the onlookers until a few men ran out from the crowd and began tearing the sings off his car. One said "911 = Inside Job". Another read, "America: You Are All Slaves". He held a camera the entire time recording it all.
Added Larson, "I believe you have freedom of speech. But I do believe that you don't have the freedom to come to a peaceful gathering and start something ugly. which is what I feel he was trying to do." Police say Spinler hit two people with his car and nearly hit others who had to dive out of the way as he tried to escape. He was arrested a short time later and charged with 2nd Degree Reckless Endangerment and Disorder Conduct.
Alex Jones gets paranoid in Washington DC and at a hotel in Chantilly, Virginia, when a fire alarm goes off just before the annual Bilderberger conference. From the recent IFC New World Order documentary.
This is a portrait of Seth Jackson, a sincere but sad and, to my mind, troubled young truther from Mississippi. It is quite obvious his 9/11 truth activities are related to his religious beliefs. The worlds and images speak for themselves. Don't miss the final moments.
Leslie Robertson, chief structural engineer of the World Trade Center in New York, discusses the collapse of the WTC on KGNU Community Radio, Boulder, Co., on the fifth anniversary of 9/11 with physicist Steven Jones. In the fall of 2006, amid controversy surrounding his work on the collapse of the World Trade Center, Jones was relieved of his teaching duties and placed on paid leave from Brigham Young University. On October 20, 2006, he announced his retirement.
