Arthur Scheuerman, retired Battalion Chief from the New York City Fire Department and author of 'Fire in the Skyscraper', talks about the collapse of World Trade Center 7 on September 11, 2001. Arthur was there, and saw the terrible damage the building had sustained from falling debris, the huge prolonged fires, and made the professional decision that the building was probably going to collapse. The Fire Department decided to "pull" all personnel from the building and from the probable collapse zone, hundreds of feet in every direction, including evacuating other buildings of both firefighters and civilians. "We had a problem with the location to initially get together--my faulty (DT). But then once together Josh gave out WeAreChange brochures, Deception Dollars, Sarah's DVD compilation and laminated Truth Cards while Sarah and David flashed Truth signage to all the cars along Bay St. We had one impromptu joinee with a digicam although mainly he just wanted to ask us questions. But he keep the conversation lively. One young waitress from Tony Roma's ran across the st. and thanked us, then asked for info to join the group. Young people--very interested. Older people--totally couldn't believe we would question our "country." Funniest people were on the tour buses lost in some historical fantasy then getting sort of wide-eyed at our signs and Sarah's piercings and tattoos. Love it!"

No Plane Hit The Pentagon?

104 people directly saw the plane hit the Pentagon.
6 were nearly hit by the plane in front of the Pentagon.
Several others were within 100-200 feet of the impact.
26 mentioned that it was an American Airlines jet.
39 others mentioned that it was a large jet/commercial airliner.
2 described a smaller corporate jet. 1 described a "commuter plane" but didn't mention the size.
7 said it was a Boeing 757.
8 witnesses were pilots.
One witness was an Air Traffic Controller and Pentagon tower Chief.
2 witnesses were firefighters working on their truck at the Pentagon heliport.
4 made radio calls to inform emergency services that a plane had hit the Pentagon.
10 said the plane's flaps and landing gear were not deployed (1 thought landing gear struck a light pole).
16 mentioned seeing the plane hit light poles/trees, or were next to to the poles when it happened.
Another 8 mentioned the light poles being knocked down: it's unknown if they saw them hit.
42 mentioned seeing aircraft debris. 4 mentioned seeing airline seats. 3 mentioned engine parts.
2 mentioned bodies still strapped into seats.
15 mentioned smelling or contacting aviation/jet fuel.
3 had vehicles damaged by light poles or aircraft debris.
Several saw other occupied vehicles damaged.
3 took photographs of the aftermath.."

BBC interviewer from ‘The Conspiracy Files’ show explains with some exasperation to Loose Change wunderkind Dylan Avery the meaning of a simile. Dylan seems perplexed even after the explanation. The expression on Dylan’s face is priceless. He obviously has no idea what the BBC guy is talking about.

The Ineffable Sadness Of Truth

The guy in the video is Matthew Naus. According to the YouTube description of the video, he was angered by the fact that he sent DVDs and pamphlets to 80 senators and received NO RESPONSE. He went to Washington over a year ago and distributed DVDs and pamphlets to eighty senate offices and received NOT ONE AKNOWLEDGEMENT! He’s selling the truth and NO ONE IS BUYING!

It’s easy to make fun of these people but take a look at this webpage. There is something ineffably sad about the whole enterprise. Look at the pictures of the demonstrations. No more than 12 or 15 people show up (probably the same people every time). Donations are solicited to buy DVDs, literature, stamps and stationary to get out the TRUTH and no one is listening. Most of the stuff given out probably ends up in the trash of the recipients.

The young people in this movement will probably grow up eventually, get jobs, mates, careers, a life. But these guys are middle-aged and older and have totally bought into a delusional belief system. Some will drift away from this ‘activism,’ others will probably go to their deaths clutching their ‘truths.’

The only humane response possible is pity, yes, but also great, great sadness at the waste of human lives and the time, energy, money and potential being squandered on a delusion.
